This project is a self-organizing wireless water meter project implemented in 2012. It has been operating normally for 5 years, and the meter reading accuracy and success rate are >99%.

"Laohudong Village" is located next to Xianghu Lake in Hangzhou. It is a typical rural low-density residential area at the junction of urban and rural areas. There are 600 households in the village. The whole village is long and narrow, with a total length of 2 kilometers. Three concentrators and four repeaters are used to complete the full reading and automatic data upload of 600 wireless water meters. The meter has a self-organizing network function, and repeaters are added for some places with routing above level 3 and weak signals.
