On December 8, 2012, the "2012 Winter Council" meeting of the Sichuan Urban Water Supply and Drainage Association was grandly held at the "Jingda Technology Park". Association leaders Kang Zhongliang, Xiong Yihua, Cui Qingmin, Ji Dingan, and dozens of member units including Guangyuan Water Supply and Drainage Group and Dujiangyan Water Supply Company attended the meeting.

The meeting began with a summary and guidance from the association leaders on water quality safety, water supply metering, and smart meter reading. After that, the general manager of Jingda Company gave a speech on "The Current Situation and Solutions of Remote Meter Reading". The two sides had a long interactive exchange on technical solutions. Finally, all participants visited the "Product Exhibition Hall" and "Smart Water Meter Production Site" of Jingda Company.
