Currently, there are 10 universities stationed there, including Sun Yat-sen University, South China University of Technology, South China Normal University, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, Guangdong University of Technology, Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, Guangzhou University, Guangdong Pharmaceutical University, Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, and Xinghai Conservatory of Music. Hangzhou Jingda exclusively won the bid for the Guangzhou University City One-Card Intelligent Water Management System Project.
